What are we doing:
PassFort will be undergoing a migration to a new version of Elasticsearch, which is the search engine powering the search functionality in PassFort, including the Profiles view and the search bar.
Why are we doing it:
This migration is an important step in our continuous efforts to enhance the overall performance of PassFort.
Details of the maintenance window: 21st October from 4am-12pm GMT.
During this migration, we anticipate that there will not be any downtime. However, it is possible that you may experience increased slowness in the application while the migration is in progress. This is due to the temporary increased load on our systems. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
It’s important to note that there is a small chance that search results may be outdated in the profile view for a brief period of time (the API will remain accurate) during the switchover to the newer version of Elasticsearch. This potential impact will only be applicable to users accessing the web application and will not affect users of the API.

This downtime is due to scheduled maintenance on the underlying platform that the PassFort application relies on. This maintenance may cause the PassFort platform to become temporarily unavailable during the downtime window, resulting in some API requests failing with a 5xx error code. These requests should be retried if required.
